Acting as the ‘glue’ between the customer and our development team. Understanding the needs or
problems of a customer; and translating these into a tailor-made solution that offers true value.
Taking the lead from a functional point of view. Providing your team with the necessary information
and direction so we can make a real difference together. That’s what you go for at Mr. Watts every

We are looking for a colleague with experience in defining software projects for the logistics sector,
people skills and last but not least; an intrinsic ‘can-do’ mentality.
Do you know Mr. Watts?
Mr. Watts is a startup that didn’t miss its start (pun intended )! In recent months, we have developed applications for customers such as IKEA, DEME, Becton Dickinson, Proximus, Orange, D’Ieteren, VDAB and Hooyberghs.
Our team of 7 colleagues can inspire customers, shape project ideas and then develop them across the board. In doing so, we design, build and integrate our software into the customer’s ecosystem; leveraging innovative technologies. We get to work every day on challenging projects in a no- nonsense atmosphere!
What are your future challenges?
- You inspire customers about the possibilities of Digital Twin or AR / VR applications; and take the lead during brainstorming workshops on both concepts.
- You can understand business needs & problems and convert them into a concrete software solution according to a methodological approach.
- Once the customer is convinced, you define a plan of action for their project and determine the implementation strategy together with our CTO and/or lead developer(s).
- You then perform the complete functional analysis for the project; in which you create written user stories and/or visual wireframes as "deliverable(s)".
- You steer the development of the Digital Twin or AR / VR application from a Product Owner perspective in collaboration with our developers.
- You act as the customers’ main point of contact regarding the functional aspects of their project.
What do we expect from you?
- You have 3 years of experience as a Product Owner and/or Functional Analyst.
- You are (like us) passionate about the possibilities of modern technology.
- You feel excited to realize truly innovative projects together with our small (but very capable) team and are eager to learn everything about Digital Twins, AR and VR.
- You are experienced in using methodologies such as stakeholder maps, personas, value proposition canvases, etc. in the context of software projects.
- You can handle tooling (e.g. Figma or Miro?) to create wireframes and schematic overviews of projects.
- You take responsibility and are committed.
- You communicate fluently in Dutch, English (and French?).
- You are a true 'can do' person. 😉
- Experience with the SCRUM project management framework, managing project schedules and budgets are bonus points.
